Have checked a number if threads without luck.

This week the unit that one puts the seatbelt clip into has jammed but either way has stopped functioning. At present able to secure it to the pax unit .

Have tried the WD40 and a general fiddle but no change. Any tips and if i have to replace it is it a Fabia 55 year part or are there a Halfords one size fits all ?

I swapped mine between subframes when i put my Recaro drivers seat in yesterday and it's only held on by one 12mm bolt.

If it was me i'd probably just go to a local scrapyard and ask for a seat belt receiver

Undo the 4 x M10 spline bolts holding the seats to the car, take it out undo the one bolt holding the seat belt on, swap the unit over, put the seat back in, do up the botls again

Thanks for that - ordered the Skoda part at £26 which is OK .

Job completed yesterday took well over an hour and took a lot of effort to get the bolts back in. Was concerned about cross threading but in the end had to use brute force. Once again Thanks
