Brake Warning Light After Replacing Discs/Pads

Featured Replies

I've not had chance to have the wheels off yet, but over Christmas i changed my Discs/Pads all round. Brakes perfect, but intermittently i keep getting the 'Check Brake Pad' warning light up on the dash when starting the car. I've had a quick look and the wear plugs seems to be plugged in securely from the limited access i had round/under the wheel. Just wondered if you guys had any pointers to look for, assuming it's not a simple 'pull plug out and re-insert' fix, for when i get the wheels off?

Cheers!

Bad connection on the sensor wire is the most common cause un plug and replug also because the plug is such a tight fit sometimes the best way to get it to mske s good connection is to put a tie wrap round it and give it a good pull

Sensor itself is also very known to fail/get damaged after replacement of discs.
