Brake Pads and BBS Wheels on the Fabia

Featured Replies

A quick question before I start taking wheels off tomorrow.

I am going to change my brake pads tomorrow, I have just looked at the new ones and there is only one with the wear indicator cable coming from it, is this correct that the wear indicator is only on one side of the car?

Thanks

Don't worry about answering this thread as I have been emailed the answer, it is only one wear detector wire.

Well tried to fit the pads today, they are the wrong ones! So I just swapped the wheels off the Golf onto the Fabia for the track day next week, don't want to chew the tyres off the wifes car do I?

Kumho ECSTA on the back with plenty tread.

Avon ZZ3's on the front with about 4mm, so semi slicks!

I couldn't get the Fabia wheels back on the front of the Golf as the caliper hit the wheel, so it is sitting on a skinny and the Fabia spare wheel. I will be getting these BBS wheels tidied up soon and work will start on stripping the Golf out.

Just for Info the pads I bought that were wrong.
