BEST APP FOR IPHONE IN CAR CAMERA

Featured Replies

What's the best iPhone app too use as a in car camera ? iPhone 3 gs if that makes a difference I'm sick n tired of people carving me up and getting into an accident

The iphone does not have sufficient memory capacity for long term video recording, much better to get something purposely designed for the job.

Witness is a good app

Dashcam is also worth considering.

Blackvue or Roadhawk, whichever you can get the better offer on.

These are made for doing the job youre thinking of, otherwise you would prob be looking at a 64gb or 128gb card for your phone in order to get all the video of your journey.

Another vote for Witness...

witness app... it records (if you set it to max) the last hours worth of driving, pretty good if you ask me, 6 x 10 minute vids... any of which you can export to memory...

here's an example...

all for 69p

Anyone ever tried or seen review of the cheap stuff from ebay?

I suspect they are as rubbish as the price suggested but you do get the occasional gem.

I have one on order direct from China for £31 ic P&P, however it is Chinese New Year, so it wont get delivered for about 6 weeks. The YouView reviews are mixed - very good detail from the camera - even at night, and everything you want including GPS; but some poor fixings and cabling; however I dont see them as a big issue, I can sort the mount out easily enough, and I have already ordered a better cable for £6.

For the money it HAS to be worth a punt.
