Hi

The problem is on my 2006 Octavia 1.9tdi estate. The tailgate won't open with either the remote or the manual button. I took the actuator motor off and on the bench it worked when I applied a voltage to it. I've done lots of searches on the forum and web for ideas but all I've found are ones that had stiff of in-operative mechanisms.

Has anyone got any suggestions please?

I had a fault with mine where the boot wouldnt open at times & the dealer replaced a control unit & its been fine since (it was a warranty repair so i dont have any more info on the exact part replaced).
