Hi hope someone out there can help . The boot on my Superb keeps popping open when i'm driving along . Has anyone else had a similar problem

Its possible you may have faulty boot latch/damp in terminals

Close the boot and try to open it with force (pulling it up). If it opens, then the trunk lock is toast. If not then you have somewhere bad connections to trunk lock.

Posts above sum it up, but just to make you feel better, a week ago or so I saw a 2010 Passat doing the same at ~40mph. Nice air brake

Did you find a solution to this? I have one doing the same and we have been through it with a fine tooth comb. The conv is as dry as the Sahara, no wiring junction corrosion, new boot catch and solenoid, door control turned off to isolate it and still it pops open over speed bumps. I have never got it to do it but it does it all the time to the owner.
