Hi all, getting the octy remapped at VASSTECH. Want more torque for motorway overtaking and better mpg when cruising. What should I expect? Who has had remap and what were the results? Do I need to uprate dv and over what bhp should this be done. Thanks in advance.

Springs in the dv are changed depending in boost iirc

If stage 1 you'll love it ( different car )

If stage 2 you'll love it more ( another different car )

Buzzing about it but nervous as don't want to knacker anything, never rev it over 4k so after some diesel style ooomph in gear!!

You need to get past 4k that's when the fun starts ;-)

Yeah do v occasionally but enjoy pulling in 4th n 5th. Over 4k turbo fully open I like listening to dv below 4k. Really interested to see difference as can sometimes be a tad sluggish when not chasing it.

Thats how you'll knacker a stock clutch

You need to drop the gears and get it revving. Loading up the clutch and fly at low rpm is where you will get issues
