I have a 2006 2.8 Superb Elegance here in Dubai, Middle East spec. Just got my Ross-Tech VCDS, and as expected a lot of fault codes stored in memory. Cleared all, but a few remain. But first of all, am unable to access group 09, central electronics. Does the 06 model have this module? (Built 10/05) What functions are controlled by this? Am a bit surprised I can not see the fuel pressure while running through the blocks with engine running. I have a misfire at about 1300 rpm and again at 1700 rpm. Severity varies, at times it is smooth as silk. No fault codes showing after several days and about 500 km varied driving. Leaking injector?

Little bit too quick there, also got 00476, Control module for fuel pump, (J 538) Any connection with central electronics?

The MKI Superb does not use channel 09, it uses channel 46 Central Conv. instead.

Thank you for the reply. Any idea about the fuel pump? Don't seem to have any problem except the misfire, it says 49-00, No communication. Any idea where the control module is?

Im sure I have read that the only vehicle fitted with the J538 module is the W8, post a full scan up as there maybe something coded wrong.

Removed drivers seat today and checked CCM, clean as new. Cleaned all connectors and ground connections, removed all connectors behind the kick plate and cleaned with Lectra-clean. As you can see the fault is still there. Anywhere else to check? Everything is working as it should, might there be a bad connection between the diagnostics plug and the system?

Another thing, am I not supposed to see the fuel-pressure while going through the measuring blocks?

I don't see any mention of electric mirrors, puddle lights or solar sunroof in channel 46 either.
