Budget spare wheel kit ideas

Featured Replies

I have missed the boat on ordering a spare wheel in time for delivery, im planning on buying a space saver spare wheel from a polo for £10 a pear shape tool kit also From a polo £25 and I think I'll need a spacer to clear the calliper £8.

Is those good idea has anyone done similar?

There must be several people on here, with citigos on order, who would be willing to add a spare to their order.

Just swap over your tyre goo, and donate a couple of beer tokens.

Have a chat with your sales person, when I was looking at pre reg cars that didn't have the spare a number of the offered to take the spare wheel kit out of another sales Citigo and only charge the £50.

Worth an ask!

Don't think you can add to order once confirmed. Still can't why understand anyone does not order the factory spare (inc tool kit/jack etc) for £50. Best bargain ever IMO.

I only started reading the forum after I ordered the car i didn't realise I needed to order the wheel with the car I thought I could order it later from dealer for £50 and keep the pump for free.

Costly mistake then!

That's a polo spare wheel can be picked up usually for a tender, it won't clear the from calliper without a spacer, yet I don't think you should use a spacer on the front.

Just trying to help.....I've not got my car yet ( with a spare) so didn't realise the listing was not for a genuine Citigo spare. My apologies, try talking to your dealer nicely, as I indicated in my other post a number offered to swap the sealant kit for the spare if you paid the £50. You might struggle if you wanted to keep both.
