Simple question hopefully, my blackline turns off all the lights when you get out and press the lock on the key fob. My pre FL vrs doesn't now the alarm/buzzer doesn't work either to tell you you have left the lights on. To save me from flat battery is their a way to turn on the same function as the blackline where it turns all lights off with the key fob? I have Full VCDS just need to know what to change if its possible. Ofh yeah another thing they seam to have improved with the new VRS is the fact it doesn't do the extra wipe of the windowscreen after you use the washers. It does the usual three wipes and stops where as my pre FL vrs does 3 wipes waits and then does another just to smear the screen which is very frustrating can this function be changed to match the blacklines operation?

On your pre-FL if the 'lights on' buzzer isn't working if you open the door with the ignition off and the headlights on then I assume you have the coming/leaving home function activated? If this is the case the buzzer doesn't sound as the headlights automatically turn off after a pre-determined period of time, so there is no need to warn you that they are turned on.

The extra wipe from the windscreen wipers is called the 'teardrop' and is a function that can be turned on or off on either your pre-FL or FL Octavia.

Thanks but incorrect its not the home lights function but the buzzer stopped working years ago its a faulty speaker which is part of the instrument cluster and costs a bomb to replace. Its the same reason i get no sound when indicating same speaker. This in its self is not a problem as long as i can get the same behaviour as my blackline and get the system to turn the lights off automatically when i lock the doors. What i can't have is when using the blackline I get used to the auto off function then forget to turn off the Pre FL at the weekend etc.

The 'teardrop' function you mention do you have a step by step guide on how to code the extra wipe off please I have VCDS but im a novice and only know how to autoscan etc. I know the theory behibnd the delay and the extra wipe its just in my case it never works and smears the screen on the last wipe so i want it gone.
