Hi I'm completely new to this forum and I'm hoping that you can help me in some way.

my car was fine on Saturday when I drove home apart from the steering light being on but it's been like that for a couple of years and I've managed to live with it.

This morning however when I went to drive to work I found that the power steering had completely given up. I checked the fuse and found that the 5a in the fuse box had blown so I replaced it and tried again but still no power steering. I also read somewhere that there is a 50A fuse in the compartment above the battery. I checked that and there are 4 fuses there but no 50A he largest is a 40A and all 4 are ok.

Any idea from you guys would be most appreciated.
