ecusafe

Featured Replies

a mate has a laptop with ecusafe and has offered to switch off the egr if I put on a blanking plate. reading up on the net, I get the opinion ecusafe is not good for dpf delete, as it is a 'patching' software, rather than a retuning or remapping software. is this also the case if I use it for the egr delete, or is it ok to use for this task. I cannot find much on egr deleting with this software.

one last question. when I blank off the egr prior to the map, is there anything I should do maintenance wise with it? I did try to remove the egr to clean it, but could not get to the bolt at the back and gave up

ECUsafe is a nasty piece of software, particularly the cracked versions that do the rounds.

Maintenance wise, cleaning the inlet system is a good move.
