which insurance companies still cover you for old for new within the first 12 months if car has been written off on pre reg cars?

I believe not all companies give you this cover as your technically the 2nd owner (on a brand new car)

also which GAP insurance is Pre-reg car friendly?

I sent ALA an email but no reply as of yet!

GAP is your best bet, but I believe they pay out invoice price.

They don't pay out more than you paid, as you bought it 2nd hand and got a discount.

Otherwise you could drive down the road, stuff the car into a bridge support and make a profit.

Most GAP providers will cover new or 2nd hand.
