2006 model year info

Featured Replies

Just found first details on Fabia revisions available from June 2006 as per Skoda cz press release on 31/05/05 via www.germancarfans.com :)

Dual rate braking to be introduced..improves braking distances amonst other things..does not say if it applies to Vrs..+sunset glass..rear privacy glass to you and me..

Skoda germany website already lists 2006 mdl yr.. sunset+rear electric windows as an option on Vrs but still EURO 3 engine..don`t know what else as I don`t speak the lingo..zenon standard also in czech republic..nice new alloys on ltd edition Octavia to celebrate 100 yrs of Skoda

Irish website is a hoot for unusal options in general for furby Vrs..like heavy duty suspension..and a body repair kit, if i remember correctly..amazing how specs vary in Europe for 2005 model year

Emailed Skoda CZ yesterday for any info before I found this, as Skoda UK did not know anything whatsoever about specs or launch date..nothing new then!!

I don`t own a furby yet, but allowing for 8-10 week leadtime, would mean available around end August..too close to possibly miss out on improvements..wish they would change seat trim grime attracting grey to black or part leather and offer more extensive exterior colour range..

Also thought about planting seed ref: Skoda offering sport parts eg Cupra 160 intake and engine top strut etc and making extra money..what do you think? good idea or could it jeopodise warranty if they start digging??..ok they are genuine VAG parts

Ciao
