I have been given a sandwich plate of my mate whos got an astra vxr. The centre bolt on the plate doesnt fit my oil filter thread. Does any one know what thread I need for this? Cant find a helpfull post anywhere.

Just looked on ETKA, the stud that holds it all together is called a "Threaded union" Pt No: 028 115 721 but no thread data.

The nut that holds your oil cooler in place (can be seen when you take oil filter off), Pt No : 068 115 723 again has no thread data.

Suppose you could always order the nut and get the thread checked unless someone here knows what the thread form and size is.
