Soo when waxing you car how do you do it what do you use and how's my coats?? I tried a new method yesterday and I was shocked and pleased by the outcome

Using nattys paste wax I applied it using my hands and (yes this looks really wrong and awkward) massaged the paint and rubbed it up lol then left for 15 mins being karnuba it's easy to remove will do 3 coats tho just ran out of time yesterday... It's been a while lol.

It use a paint sealant, FK1000. Only used 1 coat on all my cars previously but stuck 2 on the Fabia and the difference was night & day.

Can't wait for the better weather so I can do it all again

It gets a bit addictive don't it ha! I'm gong to invest in some dodo juice white diamond for mine when I get payed as the difference in finish between mine and my mates Astra is ridiculous there bothe treated the same way polish and clay bar ( when they need it ) but the juice has such a deeper shine its nuts! Ill apply the 2 other coats this morning me thinks see if I can get more shine.

Just a small point.......

If youre going to layer it, then wait at least 2 to 3 hours or longer for the previous coat to cure, or youll rub it off and only replace it

Natty's is a soft wax with a nice wet look, but not that durable..only 2 months

Layering will aid the durability...To significantly increase your durability, use Poorboys EX-P sealant prior to waxing..It makes a big difference

Used Turtle Wax on mine yesterday came up a dream! Just the one coat as my arm was falling off at this point!

It shows the lovely little scratches the previous owner made too!

Have you tried Photobucket...Its really good?

Never had a problem with pictures after using that site

Yeah I used to use it but then it would t let me on my profile for some reason so I gave up using it haha I use a 3 stage system for my car starting with poorboys polish with carnauba then white diamond glaze which is a swirl remover and just gets it all nice ready for usually 2-3 coats of wax, but tbh that last section has been pointless as I didn't know about that 3 hour thing lol

Swirl removal is always better than masking them with fillers

I can machine polish it for you if you wish

I'm ok dude thanks for the offer! I'm a painter by trade so I know how to use a buffer but tbh at this moment in time I havnt got the time if space to give the car a full machine polish, I will do so maybe one weekend take the car indoors to work and do it then I just like to keep it shiney and protected by hand when I can
