Felicia 1.3i Plug Gap

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm about to service my 1.3i Felicia this weekend, I have the plugs and everything needed but can't find what size to gap them too as I don't have a haynes manual yet, can you help?

It's on a P Plate if that helps?

Cheers.

I've got the same reg car and when I replaced my spark plugs they were already set to the gap that they needed to be. It depends on the make of your spark plugs. I've got the NGK ones and I checked on their website that the gap is 0.8mm. It is probably best to check through manufacturer websites as some of them display the gap setting required

Can you post the engine code, eg 135M, and the make of plug?

Hi,

Thanks for the replies, having checked in the boot it's a 136 & the plugs are NGK and according to there site should have a gap of .8mm

  • 1 year later...

bring ngk-r6e it's and check it with the filler to 0.8m before installation caouse the plugs may drop on the floor through moving or transportation to the customers also adjust valve clearances at inlet 25m exhoust 20m change air filter also fuel filter check ignition timming and to check the plugs are ok try to go from 0 to 100 in 15 seconds if not there is somthing worng ?

if the engine is running ok then dont bother to adjust the spark plug gaps!!
