Rebooting Phone

Featured Replies

I've a cheepo Samsung Galaxy I5500 (Europa) smartphone. It's worked fine until recently when it's started repeatedly rebooting for no obvious reason.

It just did it now and when it cam back up it fired up the camera without prompting.

I've not installed any new apps for months, although I have put in a new sd card.

New phone time / factory reset  ?

Try doing a factory reset. If that doesn't work then new phone time.

Aaargh I'll have to use Kies to back stuff up.

Try removing the sd card, I had a similar problem with my Galaxy s2 and it was the card, works fine in my S3 tho

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!

It's always been a bit of an arse with the sd card. Keep mounting and unmounting. New one made no difference to that.

Might be time for a new gadget anyway.
