My 1997 skoda Felicia will not start, getting fuel but not getting spark from coil to the distributor. This is driving me nuts, I've tried everything even took coil and ignition module from a working car and put in there and the same thing happens. HELP PLEASE

First of all, you can't have a LXi, because 'i' stands for injection, yet you mention having a carburetor car.

Second, if you changed ignition coil and ignition module, check if:

- you get +12V on pin 15 of ignition coil and ignition module when key contact is on;

- you have a good ground on pin 31 of ignition module;

- the coil inside distributor has continuity; with an ohmmeter you should get around 3400 ohm.

As above plus check the coil to distributor high tension lead, presuming you have a carburetor car.

If you actually have an injection car, have you recently changed the battery in the keyfob?

Thanks so much. I bought the car from my brother and I think at some point the back trunk was replaced and that's why I thought it was an Lxi, that's what on the trunk. Thanks for the help guys

That is a carburetor car with more accessories as standard.
