Columbus PROD-Screen

Featured Replies

Getting frustrated with the touch screen.

If it is sold as a capacitive touch screen - thn i am very disappointed!

Whereas the cheaper resistive touch screen usually as a soft

pad screen so u can press as hard as possible - which is liveable...

...my Columbus feels like a resistive touch screen BUT

with a hard plastic screen which feels like its gona crack any moment.

Just wonder wot others experience if it?

Any tips?

Can it be set to very sensitive?

How does it work anyway?

Is it really by pressure of prod?

Or as in real touch screen by electrical pulses from finger tips?

Apologies if re-post :-(

It has definitely resistive overlay hence the screens ''softness''. TBH I'm quite happy with it, it is quite responsive for a resistive touch screen. Incomparable with what Japanese car makers put in their cars.
