H&R 20mm Pics

Featured Replies

Anyone got any pics side on of their car to show if it does make any noticable difference to the ride height of a VRS.

Also i know 99% of people dont recommend running springs with standard shocks but is anyone doing it and can comment on the ride it gives?

:)

TRY NOW LOL

I'm running the H&R springs with standard shocks/struts and no issues at all, even 5 up no rubbing etc.

Will try to get a photo later today.

There we go butchvrs

Looking at that pic thats about how my coillies are set on front and a tad lower on back because they won't go up anymore

Cheers VolvoMeg, I'm a noob when it comes to computer things.

I didn't want the car to low because of the amount of stupid size speed humps around here, plus they provide standard ride comfort but tighten up nicely if you want to push on a little, besides I've got my rally car to play in properly  !

That looks like a good compromise, butchvrs!

Thanks butchvrs, that ride height looks good! What mileage are your shocks on?

Front and rear were replaced at 65k, car now has 116k and are still good, the rears are Gaz adjustables which I fitted because I used to tow the trailer and rally car behind, but the fronts are factory units from Skoda.

same as mine :) sits nice on the stock rims too :)

Think I'm going to go for these, look a good solution to not going too low.

Dean, got the pic cheers mate :) looks good!

I think i may take the plunge and get them now and run with standard shocks but definitely with the plan to get new shocks in the nearish future as at 66k mine are probably past their best!

Only other thing tempting me is the 35mm weitecs as will keep the rear that little bit higher and then maybe get the top mounts from Damian at dpm that drop the front 10mm as i think the front needs to go that little bit lower to level the look out abit.

i have some of the mounts they forget to tell you to use 9n polo strut caps lol or they don't fit right lol

Did you fit them at the same time dean as the springs?

What do you need to git them, i was going to fit new bearings whilst i was at it.

It will mean in getting new wishbones and bushes, new steering arms with new bushes both ends, new springs and new top mounts and bearings. So hopefully it will improve the car quite alot!!!

NO I GOT THEM AFTER LOL NOT FITTED YET :( JUST RTHE POLO 9N SPRING CAPS APPARENTLY IF YOU GO ON THE SUPER PRO FACE BOOK PAGE IT TELLS YOU AS THEY MAKE THEM I THINK OR CREATION MOTORSPORT SELL THEM AS THERE OWN BUT NOT

You can get the caps from PSI Tuning.
