Intercooler 90 degree elbow

Featured Replies

Evening all,

I've searched high and low - on here and various other forums without finding difinitively what I'm looking for.....hoping one of you might be able to help!

I have a split in my intercooler right angle connector - that leads to the turbo. Now as skoda kindly charge £100+ for this poxy bit of tubing I'm looking for a very cheap alternative remedy!

As such does anyone happen to know or would be happy to measure the external diameter of the two female connectors this pipe goes into for me, to enable the 'correct' size silicon hose to be jubilee clipped over the top as a short term fix.

I'm looking to chop it in as soon as I can get it 'working' again hence the very short term fix. I will also post reg details etc on here as soon as its part ex'd to ensure none of you are unfortunate enough to buy it at any point - it's been an awesome little car it's just a little tired and long in the tooth now!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Jones

Stick a thread up in the wanted section

Someone might have a spare from installing a front mount

It would give a better fix to install a sleeve of metal inside the hose

Basically cut hose in half. Install metal sleeve and jubillee both ends
