Hi,

Doing the elephant mod earlier and trying to get the metal clip off the pipe, i managed to damage this...

Will i need a new cam cover or is there a way to fix this??

If i need a new cover, what's involved with swapping over??

Yep think you'll need a full cam cover should be loads of little bolts around edge of cover and a gasket or rubber seal I think

Easy job or best to get a mechanic to do it??

Yeah I would replace the rocker cover or it will **** out oil, the rocker cover has the little Alan key bolts round the edge just make sure the gasket is sitting on properly or it will leak oil normally round the back it falls out of place

As moosaf28 says really just make sure seal is located properly or you'll have a leak don't think it's too hard to change but never done one myself

Might be worth getting a new seal as well it will only be like £4 might as well
