Second vRS Estate ordered

Featured Replies

Time to trade in my pre zero VAT model for a better deal and free 3 years servicing, so the new one was cheaper than my 2010 model.

It will be Steel Grey, not my first choice, with arm rest, parking sensors and black wheels.

Hopefully with the latest engine mods and better oil consumption, although the old one was well within spec. and not a huge issue.

Anyone know how I can find out if the engine will be CTHE type, the dealer doesn't know?

They have confirmed it is a 2013 model year build..

I beleive they are all CTHE now Tony, but I couldn't tell you from when.

Mine was delivered last November and is the new engine so all new orders will be.

How can you get a better deal I the old one was zero vat?

I ordered mine 2 weeks BEFORE the VAT came off and paid extra for the 3 years servicing; how about that for bad luck?

This time I have no VAT and 3 years free servicing; yipee!!

Tony

I haven't seen another European market where the vRS is promoted so much as in the UK. VAT free deals??? Haven't seen them anywhere and I did have a look at least at 3 different markets before I bought mine. Guess that's the reason the vRS must be so popular there. I've only seen 2 others around here in 2 years of ownership!

indeed its a bargin.... you can buy a vRS for the price of a deisel fiesta ! :o

I'm seriously thinking of trading mine in for a new estate .....

I got mine vat free and saved £3500 over list price so I'm a happy bunny - 3 years free servicing too.

So you bought the first one pre all these snazzy deals! With you now :)

Sharky - go for it - I'd buy another estate in a heart beat if they do a run out model ala vrs se spec! Leather, xenons etc

read the new thread I'm about to start! lol...

There are VAT free deals on in Belgium at the moment, but my French isn't good enough to read any further on model exclusions. Sticker was on a Monte in the showroom...and a Superb..and a Roomster, I think? Not on a Citigo, though!

It is a combined VW/Skoda dealer; Citigo and Up! within a few metres of each other. Still prefer the looks of the Citigo as does the wife who's now seen the other 2 of the trio (Up! and Mii) and is so glad she had the Skoda..
