That looks to me like a 007 and I think they are about £60 with the springs used. Very good recirc valves IMO.

Its a creation Motorsport by the look of it cost £29 new

Just as good as forge

dont the proper forge motorsport ones have the words engraved around the outer rim?

not the early ones, the first 007 forge valves were just like that then they made an updated FL type version that had squared off edges to the top for ease of undooing if that makes sence.

perfect for the mk1 vRS, pop a green spring in with one washer plate.

CAI then is required for sound

Yea you won't get a lot of sound from that as said above try a cai kit.

I have a Pipercross VIS CAI for sale.

Or just turn the oem one around and never leak and still vent fine - cost = 5-10mins of your life

DG

If the diaphragm is gone it wont work no matter what way you put it but turning it around would mean that the boost is pushing on the spring

If you fit the one in the pic and nothing else it will sound pretty much the same as the standard one

So i fitted this used bailey dv30 to the octy yesterday....

It worked ok for the day, sounded nice not too load just a bit more woosh then standard.

But! Today i jumped in and drove to town and all was well, boost was qorking as normal, i parked up with the engine still running for about ten mins. Then as i started driving again i noticed the boost wasnt coming in. I could hear the turbo spooling up but it just wasnt moving the car much at all as if it was running on 25% power! So i decided to switch off the engine and try again, and drove and the boost was back! So drove to the shops switched off car went in and back out within five mins and started the engine and drove and again experienced the same low boost problem. All this with no eml or any warnings on the dash. So decided to go back to factory dump valve and its running as normal again boosting up and putting the power down...

So obviously the problem is with the bailey valve? Seems intermittant though so wondering if anyone has had this issue with aftermarket recirc valves??
