There are some marked unswitched red terminals (permanent) and a large yellow unswitched terminals marked under there. Should be able to earth there to a chassis bolt if need be, but you're better off keeping earth runs as short as possible, as I'm sure you well know.

iirc the switched live is the X75 terminal on the back of the board, normally two yellow and black wires attached

Cant remember the size but they were certainly smaller than M8, so M6 stands a chance, IIRC I used a 10mm socket to remove the nut.

I think the ring or forks r like 6.4 or sumin so should be ok

Am i right guessing the ring connectors would be better than forks ?

Rings are more secure, but a pain in the butt if you need connect/disconnect the wire with any regularity

What would u use mate ?

I was just thinking itbwould stop them from coming out and touching something bad ?

I'd personally use a ring, then put a inline fuse holder in the wire

Protection plus ability to easily disconnect power without tools
