Octavia Estate Dog Guards

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just joined up as I'm taking delivery of a new vRS Estate next month.

I need to get a dog guard for the rear and have looked into both the "official" Skoda kit and those produced by others - Anybody have good/bad experiences or recommendations?

Many thanks

Yup, genuine one is well made. No problems for me with the variable floor and this unit in simultaneously. ;)

Mind, my boy (left) has no interest in jumping the seats anyway so I've only used it once, just in case! :giggle: Still, the upright bars that fix it in to the suspension struts are left hidden in place (very discretely too... well done Skoda) without affecting ANY of the other bits of the car and the top is a seperate bit which can be attached and unnattached in a matter of seconds. Swish!

For the cost of the OEM one I don't know why anyone would look for anything else. I reckon it's good value and is easy to fit yourself. Also integrates well with other kit.

Sarge.

Am only up in Hatfield if you want to have a look at a OE Skoda one i have fitted to my octy estate. Only took a few minutes to install and fits/ looks well.

Thanks guys for your help and advice - really useful.

Think I'll go for the Skoda product - especially as it's a company car and don't want to damage anything in the long run!!

Northlodge - Many thanks for the offer - I'll drop you a line about meeting up.

Thanks again.

Jon
