New Car Treatment; suggestions

Featured Replies

A friend of mine is getting a new Golf next week. I have said I will give it some protection treatment. When I got my new Octavia recently I used Poorboys Black Hole sealant under a Collinite Marque D'elegance wax. I top up the wax every 8 weeks or more. Looks fine but I doubt she will be wanting to work on her car so often.

A link http://www.polishedb...are-advice.html posted by Chris on another recent thread led me to this werkstat kit;

Chris (or any one) any comments or alternative suggestions? Her car is plain Black not metallic finish and will be parked in the street.

Plus any recommendations on the latest in seat fabric protection products?

Thanks for all the advice you, and others, give on this forum by the way, much appreciated.

Rick

If she wont be doing her car that often then try the Ceramishield from concours car care.

Fabric it doesnt matter what you use the friction of people sitting on the seats etc will wear it away

i use this http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Fabric_Protector.php

get a pro on it to put some ceramic sealant on like Cquartz mate

will last 2 years and all you have to do is wipe some spray (included in pack) on it every 3 months after its been washed to keep it topped up.

this is the stuff (made for uk):
