One of the gas struts on the boot lid has lost it's seal. Does anyone know the part number or post a link for a new one?

2010 Octavia hatchback .

Just had a look on VagCat site and they only go up to 2005 :(

2005 part number is 1U6827550E if that's any help?

It may even be on a sticker on the strut?

Skodaparts.com only list two and those are up to 2008, nothing for later models.

is it not in still under warranty if purchased after march 2010

Yeah, only just. If it was a cheap part I would have done it myself, but I'll give the dealer a call tomorrow I think. Thank you for the help with numbers though

I think 1U is for the MK1.
