Common faults aplenty

Featured Replies

Long time no speak all, apologises for being away.

Thought I'd update you on Furby 56.

Rear doors have finally been sealed after 2 years just not had the time of weather to allow the sealant to cure

Another fault happened was that of the front console bushes. Luckily a good friend who is very patiant did them for me in a couple of hours

Battery body strap check lead rotted causing an electrical fault and presenting as a dead battery. Replaced for £4!! Better than £120 for the Bosch S4 I have fitted

Car still taking on water in the rear passenger cell after swearing And testing the rear doors, swearing and having a little moment to myself on the off chance I noticed that the front doors are trickling a little water in behind the door cards. So that's the next job!

But looking at the forecast I won't be doing it this week! Only other issuse I have to deal with now is removing the rather large knock mrs green teeth granny left when reversing into serveral cars including mine doh!

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the Skoda!!

Due to the poor weather have not yet the opportunity to look at anything (don't have a garage plus the wife uses the car daily).

Upon a dry patch I will take a look. Thinking about it if it is the rear washer would seem strange as I get a good flow from it when operated, but could be a loose connection I suppose?

When coming back from the car wash after my little moment there was deffinat water droplets running from the bottom of the plastic on the front NS door.

Will check both and post a couple of pics, just got to sort the insurance again! Expensive time of year!!!!

Was  not the washer pipe in the back after all!

It was my P**S poor job of sealing it up after all. All done and water tight for now!! thanks again guys for the help and advise given.
