Nokian (summer) tyres

Featured Replies

This year is going to be expensive year for tyres as both cars will require a set of new tyres (Superb 225/40/18” 92Y & TT 245/45/17” 95Y) now I have run Nokian WR G2 winter tyres on the Superb and the TT currently has Nokian WR A3 winter tyres fitted and I am really impressed with them, so much so that I am seriously considering Nokian summer tyres as well.

So the question is has anyone used their summer tyres?

I am looking for a good performing tyre (I am not interested in out and out performance mind) fairly quiet and good wear rate coupled with decent MPG (aren’t we all :giggle: )

The price for them is pretty good at £104 (225/40/18”) and £118 (245/45/17”) for the new zLine’s so has anyone tried them yet?

Same thing here, ive had to buy 12 tyres in just a few months for my two cars, winters and two sets of summers this week. I decided against what you are thinking of and in the end went with Barum Bravarus 2's (made by Continental) as a mid range choice and after reading lots of reviews. The Nokians seem to get the good reviews for their winter tyres from what I've seen - makes sense I guess, a tyre that's sold in the colder Scandinavian countries.
