power steering reservoir below min mark could there be a problem

Featured Replies

My power steering reservoir is below min mark, when i bought the car i could not check it but a week after i got it i went to the hassle of stripping battery to check the level it was below the min mark but the car was cold so thought wait till its warm but i only did that yesterday lazy me i have had the car 3 months and when checking the mark was still the same pretty much so i have topped it up.Don't know if its a leak or natural evaporation over time but with my luck its a leak anybody had this

Is there any evidence of a leak, particularly oily marks around the ends of the rack? if not then I'd suspect natural wastage, and check again in another 3 or 4 months.
