wishbones

Featured Replies

My wishbone bushes are looking abit knackered,is it worth getting poly bushes from my original wishbones or is it better to get new cast wishbones complete with standard bushes?

thanks :)

don't waste money on new wishbones, just put new bushes, poly or standard ones, depends what you want.....rubbish ride,or nice ride

I've just polybushed my leon same platform using flo flex poly bushes must say very impressed so far.big_jase has them in his leon fr on here, that's how I heard about them half the price of other polybushes

I just went with normal (VAG) bushes into my existing wishbones (after 206k), but I am only driving a diesel.... Having a press and a vice is certainly handy though. A lot of polybush ones are probably easy to fit though.

Yup floflex ones from a mk4 work a treat

Only £28 for a full set!

That's a good price, where they easy to fit? My cars on kw coilovers lowered as far as they'll go,just a bit concerned standard bushes won't last to long :/

They were okay to fit. Smaller bush is a 2 piece bush so pushes in by hand

Bigger bush isnt too bad i managed it with a bench vice :)

I Managed to do the big one by hand

Bet you had a sore hand!
