Removing Rear CD player

Featured Replies

Folks,

I updated my Head Unit in my vRS ages ago, but left the standard 6 CD player unit in the the boot.

How easy is it to remove the unit?

Very easy. You just need a philips screwdriver and a 10mm spanner. 15 mins work tops

But why remove it? You can't really use the space for much, and surely leaving the CD player will help when you eventually sell the car on (you might want to take your head unit with you)?

Well , I've got a nice Sony 10 disc changer fitted in the same spot as the factory kit was.

All the standard equipment is still in the loft waiting to be re-fitted when the car is sold
