both headlights low

Featured Replies

car just failed its MOT on a few minor things, one of which is that both headlights have gone very low . the internal adjuster has stopped working also, so my guess is that the control for the height has gone pop.

i cannot find anything on the net offer any advice as to what may be wrong. would the headlights go very low if the control unit fails ?

i doubt it is a servo motors gone as both lights are at identical heights.

thanks in advance.

Get someone to sit in the car, start it and move the adjuster up and down. Have a look at the headlights while the do this, Can you see any movement of the reflective back?
