Rear speakers-what might it be??

Featured Replies

My rear speakers are as dead as dodos. Silent. Zilch.

What might it be? Loose wire? Fuse? Problem in the radio?

Or something that will take weeks ?

I know FA about any sound equipment.

TIA

Check the fading isnt on full front.

Other than that if both have dropped out then id suspect the rear channels have gone down on the headunit.

It's unlikely to be a loose wire at the back of the stereo as all 4 speakers are on the same plug which can't easily work loose.

There may be a connector that runs just to the back speakers which could have come loose but where that would be I don't know. There are connectors at the bottom of the speakers but it's unlikely that they would both fall off (still check they are in place to be sure).

Failing that it could be the stereo that has broken or someone has set the fader to full front.

Where are you? Someone may be able to have a nose at it for you.
