Goodbye Vrs Hullo Monte.

5 very reliable years with the Vrs have come to and end...I've absolutely no idea how that car could

nip around so fast AND return 60+ MPG!

Anyway - on to the Monte Carlo. I'd like Black magic sprayed rubber protective side strips..however the Paint shop tells me that

those available are "textured" and would need preparation before being plastic coated, and then spraying with Black magic...and could not say that this process would not lead to cracking/peeling.

If the "untextured" strips were still available this would not present a problem..?
