Hi all iv recently brought a w reg 1.4 16v fabia and I was assured that it had a camchain looking through the service history and a old mot advised the belt needs changing but it doesn't mention it in any of the services any ideas??

Someone has not been telling you the truth!

The 1.4 16v has a cambelt.......only the 8v 1.4 has a chain.

Ah that was naughty best call the mobile mechanic oh well could've been worse! Cheers for the clarification
