I Pod Touch Wont Work On Aux lead.

Featured Replies

HI All

New to the site apologies if this has already being covered. I have just purchased the I Pod aux lead from a main dealer. The device is an I Pod Touch (not sure if that matters but thought would clarify.) I have plugged this in expecting it to pick up automatically and of course it doesn't.

The vehicle is the Octavia VRS on a 60 plate. The location of the Auxiliary port is in the glove box. When I connect it the Aux screen is still greyed out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... I have been into the settings on the Media screen also the SD device works fine as does the CD player. I dont know whether i need to alter something within the settings device itself or not ????

Please HELPPP!!!

Thanks

Chris

Sorry do you mean the MDI cable as the AUX port is in the armrest?

as if its the MDI connection take the memory card out and you should find the info showing when you press the media button.

My auxilliary lead works Ok but you have to activate in media settings.

I cant get my SD card to work - any ideas
