Iv heard mixed stories about Star to be honest.

Is Shark not one of the better Maps you get? Heard alot of good things about them.

Had a good look the Shark re-map. Its only a increase of 25bhp, yet theres others who are doing 40/45bhp increase for less!

What engine are you talking about?

Its not all about peak bhp increase!

For example on my 1.8t vrs stock i made 180bhp and mapped i made 210bhp. So seems like only a 30bhp increase!

When in fact at 4k rpm instead of 120bhp i had 190bhp, a 70bhp increase!

Look passed mappers quoted claims!! Its to draw you in! Shark map will be better than angels map!

If you have a vrs the MAX you'll get on stock hardware is 210bhp anyways! The 225bhp quoted by angel is complete crap!

Also the mappers need to undrstand what there doing with the 1.8t (as shark do) to give a hassle free map as a lot of companys you end up with a surging issue on the 1.8t

Its the 1.8t vRS.

Thats some gain at 4k rpm!!

Yup not all about peak bhp ;)

But in all serious a standard car will not surpass 210bhp with a remap

Its due to the downpipe off the turbo its far to restrictive :)

If your chasing figures then you need to go to someone who will put a really peaky undriveable map on that will get you the high peak bhp

If you want a well developed smooth safe map that has been tried and tested and also give you the power over the whole rev range not just peak then look no further than shark map from brotek

Thanks mate.

Its looking promising for a Shark re-map :)

Stage 2 map just takes into account of more mods,I had fitted a decat, front mount inter cooler, uprated tip, ditched the sai system,so with stage 2 got the sai fault mapped out and rear 02 sensor taken care of,I have no idea what power I have but I think any more I would need an uprated diff and better suspension, currently on Koni adjustables and h&r springs and uprated anti-roll bars, wet conditions,it all too easily spins the wheels and I run good year f1 asymmetric tyres, sometimes you can have too much power.
