Need help in selecting right MFSW

Featured Replies

Hello Folks

I have recently just installed 5K0 953 569 H and CCS and they are working well. Just got confused in selecting the right steering wheel..... My car is equipped with bolero without the bluetooth and em confused in selecting the correct steering wheel. Should I buy the steering wheel with "phone" button installed or should I buy steering wheel with "source" button installed.....???? I have no Idea whether you can operate source of the bolero through "phone" button when blue tooth not installed.?? Or you can operate bluetooth calls with the steering wheel with "source" button ..?? Thing is folks that my plans for installing VW blutooth kit is 50:50 and I don't want to change my steering wheel later onwards if I plan to install bluetooth kit..... So folks kindly guide me choosing the right steering wheel. Any help would be deeply appreciated........

I had retrofitted a 3 spoke multi function steering wheel with the phone button.. There was a time when I only had the MFSW and not the oem Bluetooth, I had tried to code the phone button to work as the source changing but iirc it didn't work that way.

But, I can't speak for the new steering wheel controller in the slip ring as I have the old steering wheel module.
