I have just done a service on my octavia, I thought i would reset the mileage on the speedo for next service but i think i have done something wrong, I held the resset button down and then turned the key, All i got was the word service on the speedo no mileage count down, I have tried a few more times and the same happens but also i have noticed the dash display stays on when i take the key out ?????

I have noticed that the amount of fuel left showing on the digital display is wrong and the average mpg does nt seem right ?

I hope i have nt broken some thing ?

think in the service manual it tells you how to reset the service light, have a look, or have a search on here, someone will have posted it.

I have now looked it up more on the net and found i needed to use the clock adjustment button, I am still concerned that mileage stays on with the ignition off is that correct ? and the mileage to tank left and mpg seem wrong !
