2002 fabia comfort 1.4 16v starts 90% of the time but sometimes when warm spins and spins but no go until easy start is squirted in the air intake

Does it smell of petrol? Easystart could fire when the engine is flooded. If no petrol e.g. pump problems would expect cold start to be more difficult.
