Got my hands on a felicia pickup :)

Featured Replies

To cut a long story short my dad bought a felicia pickup cheap off a friend a not too long ago, stuck it on ebay and it did crap money so ive ended up having it for my 21'st along with 10 driving lessons. its not in great nick, been used as a work horse before the last owner.. Took it for an mot and failed on 2 tyres, rotten wings, brakes & indicator bulb so ive stuck a pair of wings on it along with a full set of pads and shoes, new brake cylinder and 2 part worn tyres, sailed through the re-test with minor advisorys.

so now starting to look at making it a bit more presentable, nabbed a set of multi-fit alloys off ebay for 51 quid with a good set of toyo tyres on them, description wasnt too good so wasnt sure if they would fit but for how cheap they were i thought i'd take a chance and luckily they do fit :) just need some wheelnuts that fit the alloys.

The seats in it have seen better days so went down to the local scrappy see if there was a felicia in for a pair of seats and a set of clocks with the rev gauge, unfortunatly there were no skoda's in at all so had a scout round at the other motors and saw a hyundai coupe with some nice leather seats in and a 4 door civic with some very clean cloth seats in, the civic seats looked like an easier fit so had them out for £20, got them home and they are a very close fit, the front mounts fit perfect and the rear rails need 2 small plates making, they are really conmfy and fit nice :)

will be updating after ive done a bit more :)

That's a bit different for a 21st! Nice quirky little pick ups & this section will provide you with a lot of help/advice/guidance.

Look forward to seeing how she develops!

Rob ;)

Well done, we'll look forward to more pics with wheels and seats fitted then. If anything the pickup's seem to have more street cred than the saloons and lots of them seem to get slightly pimped so you've got a good base to work with there.

Wheel nuts finally came today, wheels look nice fitted but the rear need spacing out 5-10mm as they are a little close to the damper. will be ordering the paint next, looking for a load liner for the back but havnt come across anything yet :(
