cleaning textured wheel faces?

Featured Replies

Any one got any tips for getting textured paint finishes clean again? I've tried snow foam, soaking in various wheel cleaners, scrubbing with a brush (hard and soft bristles) just seems to be in the poores of the finish no matter what I try :(

It will be shot blasted i bet this was probably to get all the old paint off. It should have been repainted or clear laquered im guessing otherwise the ally will oxidise. You wont be able to get it clean easily i would just get it painted.

As Scribbler said, it looks like they have been shot blasted to remove the old paint... I have just had some wheels blasted & they look just like your pic.
