Advice Please on this 1.9tdi

Featured Replies

HI, so i've been looking to switch from my 1.4 16v (Seen Here For Sale) for a vRS although trying to add my 3 points and my 23 year old brother this proved difficult (also my budget) so now I am looking for a PD100 then mapping it ect...

I've found this, I know I'll need new bumper (or atleast sprayed).

Any advice on what else to look out for and potentially budget to replace if I do buy this?

I rang them and they said the timing belt was replced at 60k ish nothing about clutch and the history only goes up to 97k

Cheers

have a long think about it before buying it may be worth saving another 6 months to a year and getting the vrs if thats what you really want .... mapping , changing bumpers , seats etc ..... all costs money which will be lost when the car is sold and cost more if you tell the insurance ....

And the car looks quite nice bould live with the bumper although the seats would defo put me off

Bumper can be removed and resprayed. Colour code is 7Q7Q. 1.9TDi ATD is one of the better engines IMO. (biased maybe). If you know anyone local with VCDS, ask them if they can look at it with you. How many years ago was the belt replaced and was the waterpump done at the same time? Bushes wear quite quickly frotn and back.

I have vrs interior to go in...so i'm guessing that an ATD engine? I know a guy who works at Audi he does alot of my stuff for me, unsure of how many years the timing belt was changed would prob get it bot done though just for safety...

Thanks for the colour code aswell
