Lowering shocks.

Featured Replies

Hi there I am looking to lower my octavia by 30mm all round and just wanted to see if any of you guys have done it. I am after mid rang shocks and springs so if you know of any good ones please help. And I am after a honey comb front grill can you buy these. Thanks again Neale

Mines lowered 35mm all round on a vrs on h&r -50mm springs, the vrs sits 15mm lower then standard model so only lowers 35mm on vrs, have updated koni yellow adjustable shocks though as 35mm on standard shocks will reduce there life and might be a little bouncy.

Some pics for you,

Rear sits a tad higher then the front but it's near on perfect height for me at the min

Also have the honeycomb front grills upper and lower assuming yours is a pre facelift bout from superskoda not cheap though

For a 30mm drop on the VRS you're going to need a 45mm/50mm kit.

The H&R 50mm Cup kit, mentioned above, is a good choice and will get you the drop you want - http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/hr-50mm-cup-lowering-springs-shocks-suspension-kitbr-octavia-1z-14-16-19tdi-20fsi-rs-20t-fsi-20tdi-rs-20tdi-fwd-0403-p-3234.html

Vogtland also offer a 50mm drop if you wanted something a little cheaper - http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/vogtland-50mm-sport-lowering-springs-shocks-suspension-kitbr-octavia-1z-19tdi-20fsi-20tdi-fwd-0504-p-4655.html
