can gateway Req'd for Columbus

Hello all,

I am putting a Columbus into my 57FL Octavia and the can gateway is a revision K............but ive just found a table on the ross-tech site that says the software on my revision K can gateway is not up to the job its '0021'. Is this correct ? and if so where can i get a replacement sharpish? is this a massive job to code or straight forward for a vcds novice? Any help or advice is very very welcome. Jay

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has come across this exact issue, because after 7 months and multiple visits, neither my dealer nor Škoda’s technical support has been able to identify the cause. Car: Škoda Superb Sportline, 2021, 200kW Problem: When braking, the side sensors intermittently trigger a warning that there is an obstacle very close to the car — even though there is nothing there. It happens sporadically (not every time I brake) What has already been done (all without success):

CBBB engine. Will it drop off with car jacked or do i need lift? Its pretty high on engine bay so if its not possible to turn or twist there is no enough room if using jack? 300k miles soon and its started to smoke heavy when dpf burning starts. Also burning time is now approx 30-40 miles (before 10). Its old so im scared to use vagcom burning procedure. 350€ is cleaning here for removed dpf and garantee that cleaning is succesfully managed.

Hello No power at plug. Is there some connector under the car? I didnt found broken fuses also. Tried separated ground also but 12v is missing. All other front lights are working normally. 2010
