Hello fellow skoda owners

Featured Replies

Hi all

I've just become the owner of a 1998 1.3 felicia estate, after seeing some of the positive reviews of these much under rated motors, I plumbed for an estate version.

Being on a budget and in need of an estate a nice local one has now moved onto my driveway. Has the normal rust on the arches and it would seem the local water buffalo have been making use of the room inside and having their own private disco in their. Much cleaning is needed but on the running side all seems well.

Only noticeable bits other then a bit of gaffer tape won't fix is the lack of heating and working temp gauge, a coolant flush, new cts switch and thermostat should sort that though.

Here's to picking your brains, for advise and cheap motoring

Cheers Paul

Mine has done a whooping 63,000. I've already done 700 miles in it. The " will get round to it " list is growing by the day but it starts and stops ( in a fashion) I find using the odd pedestrian, or wall aids the later.

To be fair it holds it's head up well on the motorway and A roads, so much so I enjoy seeing the mother in law, looking on with worry as one day she too will have to ride in it.
