I have recently fitted a genuine Bluetooth system into my 2011 vRS. All works well with the Columbus/Maxidot and voice control, however, people I speak to say that whilst my voice is clear, there is also a lot of background noise.

Is this common or have I done something wrong? The mic is in the front interior light.

change the settings with vcds

depending on module, it will be in the adaption channel

if the microphone is set to 0 change it to -10 and see if that helps, adjust to what helps

Thanks Eddie... I didn't know there was an option.

Vcds doesn't seem to have a label file for my module (5k0 035 730 D) for some reason.

I will have a play.
